In 2015, The Art Factory opened its doors to inspire the community here in Lake Charles.  As a for-profit business, The Art Factory funded community arts projects in partnership with events such as Gallery Promenade, Spring Art Walk, and Arts Fest as well as scholarships for summer arts programming.  In 2020, hurricane Laura forced the Art Factory to close its doors.  Since then, The Art Factory has continued to facilitate creativity through art camps and collaborations on a small scale thanks to the hospitality of other organizations.  The Art Factory is ready to open its own doors to the community again, this time as a 501(c)3 organization to partner more closely with our community and better serve the people of Southwest Louisiana.
